ART-IN-PLACE now on view at 2821 N Halsted, Chicago #cnlprojects #terrainexhibitions PORTAL (series) explores several simultaneous experiencess: through the surface nearest the viewer, the surface on the opposing side, and the shifting dynamic interaction of the patterns and colors newly created in every movement of the scrolling loop, large or small, which creates a new set of surfaces, colors, patterns, and observations. Varying with intensity and direction of lighting, the opacity shifts to obscurity through the panels; silhouetted objects on the far side, and colors as well as shadow tracings on the interior become part of the experience.

Katrin Schnabl Studio Event

December 26, 2014

Designing for real women has also influenced the way Katrin Schnabl connects with her customers, who are ultimately the face of her brand. The result is a unique and exciting collaboration, where clients are invited to become the brand’s style ambassadors by hosting a private sales event. It is an opportunity for them to share their passion for the brand with their friends and family. Modeled after an intimate salon experience, clients can host the event at their homes or at Katrin Schnabl’s studio, where guests will meet with the designer and discover her collection.

Thomas Masters Gallery Event

December 26, 2014

Katrin Schnabl has long been a part of Chicago’s vibrant arts and design scene, frequently collaborating with galleries and cultural intuitions to create unique shopping experiences where diverse creative disciplines converge.  Clients are invited to discover and shop the collection in unexpected and inspiring venues such as an art-filled gallery, a loft decorated with Asian antiques, or a hidden Chicago gem. We continue to look for new opportunities to partner with Chicago’s creative community to create unique shopping experiences for our clients. Participating partners and venues receive a percentage of sales from the event, while providing them with an opportunity to attract new customers to their spaces.
